- 1973 - Foundation of Petromontan GmbH & Co KG by Dr. J. Oberkofler
- 1991 - Establishment of own production facility
- 1994 - First time certified for quality management acc. to ISO 9001
- 2001 - Foundation of Biomontan Chemische Produkte Handels GmbH as a partner of Petromontan GmbH & Co KG
- 2006 - Fusion of both companies into Biomontan Produktions und Handels GmbH
- 2010 - First time certified for environmental management acc. to ISO 14001
- 2011 - Biomontan becomes member of SNF Group
- 2022 - Structural expansion and equipment extension of our Analytical Laboratory
