Dispersion and complexing
FIBREDIS® changes the surface of smallest, hydrophobic particles.
Therefore the particles are spread evenly in the water systems and can be washed out and drained easily by filters and presses.
Remaining particles are protected against reagglomeration by a kind of protective coating (protective colloid).
Furthermore the complexing property of FIBREDIS® binds metal ions and therefore prevents the formation of metal soaps.
Process hygiene
By exclusion and inhition of the hydrophobic particles aggregates, pipes and chests are kept clean. FIBREDIS® therefore prolongues runtimes and shortens cleaning shutdowns.
FIBREDIS® can completely replace products based on foaming surfactants and mineral masking agents. This results in less dirt specks and a lower DCM/acetone extract in the finished pulp, as well as reduced demand on defoaming agents.
FIBREDIS® is biodegradable, complies with BfR XXXVI and FDA and eases the compliance with regulatory requirements referring to the waste water treatment.
